🌺 T ENDER RIOT: BLACK & BLOOMING 🌺 Black Queer Community Day A celebration of Black queer creativity, community and joy at The Common Press Dalston featuring a makers’ market, family readings, community conversation, music and socialising. ABOUT THE EVENT Tender Riot returns to The Common Press with Black & Blooming : a Black queer makers’ market and community day celebrating creativity, kinship and joy. 🌺💜 Join us on Sunday 18 October to discover and support a brilliant collection of Black LGBTQIA+ artists, makers, designers and independent creative businesses. Explore original art, fashion, jewellery, books, zines, prints, crafts, stationery, homeware and more - then stay for conversation, community and music. 🎨📚🎶 Black & Blooming forms part of a wider Black Queer Community Day at The Common Press, with daytime readings for families, a panel featuring local queer businesses, and a DJ-led social. 🌟 PROGRAMME 🛍️ Tender Riot makers’ market: 12–5pm 📚 Family readings and community programming during the day 🎤 Panel discussion with local queer businesses 🎧 DJ + Social from 4pm Further programme details and contributor announcements will be shared soon. 🎟️ TICKETS Tickets are Pay What You Can, with a limited number of free tickets available. Please book in advance if you can. Your booking helps us know how many of you to expect and plan the day safely - even if you select a free ticket. Come for the makers. The event will take place across the ground floor and basement. There are 11 stairs to the basement and no lift; some stalls or activities may be situated downstairs.
