About

What if everything you were taught about what is “natural” was only part of the story? Narrated by Elliot Page, Second Nature takes us into the wonderfully diverse world of animal behaviour, where same-sex relationships, same-sex parenting, changing sex and matriarchal societies challenge long-held assumptions about gender and sexuality. From bonobos and dolphins to penguins, albatrosses and lions, nature is far queerer than many of us were ever taught. Surprising, uplifting and empowering, Second Nature asks what might change if we understood from an early age that diversity isn't against nature. It is everywhere within it. Everything you didn't learn in high school biology. This screening is raising funds for trans youth as part of an impact campaign. £5 from every ticket goes directly to that campaign.
