About

A queer space for connection, community, sensuality and play. What is Qu’intimacy Lounge? Qu’intimacy Lounge is a space for queer connection, community and embodied exploration. It’s an intentional space to drop in, come into your body, and connect with yourself and with other people. Each gathering begins with a guided practice and a few connection games to help us arrive, get curious and create a shared space of presence, awareness and consent. From there, the structure opens up into free flow: an unstructured space where you can follow your curiosity and choose how you want to participate. Hang out, talk, dance, connect, take part in optional practices, or simply enjoy being around other people. There’s no expectation to participate in any particular way. You decide what you want to explore, what feels good for you, and how you want to spend your time. Each Lounge has a different theme or practice to explore together. This edition: Connected Touch For this edition, we’ll explore the giving and receiving of touch. We’ll explore what it means to really listen through touch: to communicate what feels good, what we want and what we don’t, and to experience being touched in the way we choose. We’ll explore both sides of the exchange: the experience of receiving touch that feels nourishing and wanted, and the experience of offering touch with presence, attention and care. There can be something beautiful about slowing down and becoming deeply attentive to another person’s experience, listening closely, staying curious and allowing their needs and boundaries to guide the interaction. The practices will be consensual, playful and exploratory, with plenty of space to discover your own preferences and boundaries. This is a sober space. Come as you are. Drop in, connect, follow your curiosity and see what unfolds.
