About
Explore how your lived experience can strengthen your founder story to connect authentically with investors, partners, and your network. As an entrepreneur, your story matters...deeply. Why this business? Why this problem? Why you? Is the thought of being too personal or the fear of being judged holding you back from telling your full story? For LGBTQ+ founders, lived experience can shape how you see opportunities, understand customers, build community, and approach the business you're creating powerfully. Deciding how much of that story to share--and how to share it authentically--can be challenging Join career, business, and life coach Jim Arnoff for this highly interactive, small-group session exploring how queer founders can bring more of their authentic experience into the stories they tell. Together, you'll learn what makes a story compelling, how to navigate vulnerability, the best ways to lessen the fear of judgment, and how to share your experience in ways that feel natural and relevant--whether you're networking, meeting potential partners, or talking with investors. Limited to 25 participants, this workshop will create a safe space for conversation, reflection, and connection with other LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs navigating many of the same questions. You'll have the opportunity to learn not only from Jim, but from one another. Jim brings extensive experience in coaching, entertainment, and storytelling. A former television packaging agent and entertainment attorney with William Morris Agency, he partners with production companies and producers on shaping pitches, developing ideas, and communicating what makes their work distinctive. Come to reflect, connect, and explore the story only you can tell.
