About
Pigeon Heartbreak Rears It's Ugly Headache is a musical performance by Mark Couzens and friends. A brick alleyway; it is home to a buddleia bush, two pigeons, and the rather large egg they find by the bins. Pigeon Heartbreak Rears It's Ugly Headache blends folkloric nursery rhymes and shared cultural memory to tell a tale of queer family making. It celebrates the overlooked little things in life with tenderness, humour, and a good dose of chaos. Mark has developed the narrative, music, costumes, and sculptural set for and with friends, family, and frequent collaborators. Everything and everyone come together for this one-off special performance. All ages welcome. Participation encouraged. Saturday 21 November. Doors at 16:30, performance starts at 17:00.
