Get schoolwork done in a safe space at the Q-Center in Astoria, Queens! Homework is better when you don’t have to do it alone. No Straight Answers Study Hall is a 4-week afterschool hangout for LGBTQ youth ages 13–18 who want a welcoming place to connect with other queer teens and start the school year off right! Bring your homework, projects, or anything you need to tackle. We’ll provide space to focus, support with organization and study strategies, and plenty of encouragement along the way. Need help staying on task? We’ve got you. Just looking for a quiet place to work around people who get you? That works too. Come study, get organized, meet new people, and make the Q-Center your afterschool space to focus, recharge, and feel part of the community! Program Target Audience: LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages 13-18
