An intimate community event for Black queer men aged 30 and above discussing "The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love " by Bell Hooks The evening begins with introductions and conversations to facilitate connections among attendees. Please note: this event is strictly for Black Queer Men 30+. The goal of the event is to provide a safe, supportive, and intentional space outside of traditional nightlife, where Black queer men can come together, be seen, have fun and connect on a meaningful level. Following the conversations, attendees will participate in the book discussion & games. 4:00 – 4:15 PM | Arrival & Welcome Guests are welcomed, and a brief introduction to the evening’s purpose is given: a safe, alcohol-free space for connection and joy. 4:15 – 4:30 PM | Conversation & Connection Attendees will participate in conversations designed to foster connection, reflection, and shared joy. 4:30 – 5:30 PM | Book Discussion Attendees discuss the themes in "The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love " by Bell Hooks. 5:30 - 5:40 | Social Break Attendees take a break to unwind. 5:40 - 6:25 pm | Games & Connect Attendees connect and play a game together. 6:25 – 6:30 PM | Closing The host wraps up the evening, encourages networking, and shares information on future events.
