Spend the day with us at The Common Press Dalston on 18 October, from 12pm to 6pm . We’re bringing together Black queer vendors, artists, creatives and community partners for a family-friendly afternoon. Have a wander around the market stalls , pick up a book, make a badge at th e Badge Cafe workshop and hear from Black queer businesses and partners about what they’re working on. Darkwah will be on the decks with music to ease us into the evening. 12pm - 5pm (Black Queer Market Place with Tender Riots ) 2pm - 3pm ( Afro & Carribean Story Telling with LitwithRen) 3pm - 4pm ( Talks from Queer Black Businesses) 2pm - 5pm (Badge-making with Badge Cafe) 4pm - 6pm (Music with Darwah) Bring your friends, family or just yourself. Come through, support the stallholders and stay for a chat. We’d love to see you. Part of Hackney Council Black History 365 ♿ ACCESS INFORMATION The Common Press is not currently fully wheelchair accessible. This event will take place across the wheelchair-accessible ground floor and the basement, which is accessible only via 11 stairs. There is currently no lift, and some stalls or activities may be downstairs. The badge cafe and talks will be taking place on the ground floor. We are committed to improving accessibility throughout the space.
