About

Join us for a night of real talk and inspiration with Phyll Opoku-Gyimah live and in person! An Evening with Lady Phyll: Conversation, Community & Queer Black Futures Join us this October for a special evening of conversation with founder, queer icon and entrepreneur Lady Phyll, as part of our programme of talks celebrating Black History Month. A pioneering voice in the UK’s LGBTQ+ and Black communities, Lady Phyll has spent decades creating spaces for visibility, connection and change. In this intimate conversation, she’ll reflect on her journey as a founder and entrepreneur, the importance of community and representation, and what it means to build a more inclusive future. Expect an open and thought-provoking conversation exploring identity, activism, entrepreneurship, culture and the power of creating spaces where people can truly belong. Whether you’re familiar with Lady Phyll’s work or discovering her story for the first time, this is an opportunity to hear directly from one of the UK’s most influential voices in queer Black culture and community. Come for the conversation, stay for the community. This event forms part of our Black History Month programme this October, celebrating Black stories, voices, creativity and contributions, past, present and future.
