AfroYanga is BACK for 2026! 🔥 This October, we’re bringing together Queer Africans, the wider Black LGBTQ+ community and our amazing allies for an unforgettable evening of community, culture, connection, entertainment and pure joy. This year’s theme is THE POWER OF US: Community & Collective Strength ✊🏾❤️ Because there is something powerful about coming together. About being seen. About celebrating who we are, supporting one another and creating spaces where we can simply belong, connect and have FUN. And trust us… we have a NIGHT planned for you! 👀 🔥 WHAT TO EXPECT 🎤 An Inspiring Keynote Speech We’ll kick off with a powerful keynote exploring The Power of Us, celebrating community, belonging and the collective strength we create when we show up for one another. 👄 The AfroYanga Lip Sync Battle No vocals required. Maximum PERFORMANCE expected! 😂🔥 Expect drama, energy, attitude and some serious stage presence as our contestants battle it out for the AfroYanga crown. Who will have the room screaming for more? 👑 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ+ Business Showcase Community supporting community! Discover and celebrate incredible LGBTQ+ and Black-owned businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs doing exciting things. 🎤 Karaoke Warm up those vocals because the mic is OPEN! Whether you're giving us Beyoncé, Burna Boy or your favourite throwback anthem, this is your moment. 🎶 ✨ Live Performances Expect talent, energy and entertainment throughout the evening, with performances celebrating the creativity within our community. 🍽️ FREE FOOD!
